Purpose of the residency
We will keep engaging what is going on in Tokyo.
Plan during the residency
We participates Experimental Festival for the 2nd time. Also, we will continue our research on Jikken Kobo (Experimental Workshop). Also we will produce a project in relation to Arakawa's hometown in Iwaki, Fukushima, where they have a dance called Iwaki Odori.
Tcherepnin's grandfather related deeply the formation of Japanese Modern Music. Our projects will reconsider this historical links.
