Born in Poland, Zambrzycki-Payne studied fi rst at the Yehudi Menuhin School, and then at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He won such awards as the BBC Young Musician of the Year award, and placed second in the Luxemburg International Violin Competition.
