Yoshiaki Kaihatsu is an internationally active artist who works mainly on audienceparticipatory art in the forms of installations, performances, and workshops. His attempt to return the benefit of art to the community has been put to practice in various projects including THANK YOU ART DAY which is held on March 9th every year, beginning in 2000. He has participated in workshops as the leader of the artistic group, "Kaihatsu to Monjyu."
