YAO, Chung-Han, graduated from the Department of Interior Design, Shih Chien University in 2005, and the Graduate School of Art and Technology, Taipei National University of the Arts in 2008. Most of YAO's work focuses on sound art, also combined with video, installation and space. From 2006 to 2010, YAO and his friends continually held sound art events and festivals in Taiwan, including "sound in Nan-Hai", "Lacking Sound Festival" and "tranSonic". YAO is an active member of the new generation of sound artists in Taiwan.
