Profile

Born in Aichi, 1974. Obtained  MA at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and Graduate School of Aichi University of Education. His work has been shown in museums and galleries nationally and internationally. Yamamoto's work was also selected for Sharjah International Biennial 6, Sharjah, U.A.E. In the recent years, he formed artist unit, "Migakikko" with Naohiro Deguchi, and they are developing the project about children washing a car. The main theme is based on "the legendary Wash Car Hero", and he is also working on an animated film and coordinating a graffiti event.

They were invited as part of Metronome's participation in documenta 12 magazine's progrum, and held their performance in an outdoor public space, as one of the projects of the Living newspaper (which was one of the participants in the Documenta Magazines).
