A landscape unencumbered by real experience encroaches like an overflowing river from inside the monitor. The cameraman becomes my eyes, and the sound man becomes my ears. The fragments of momentary electrons that they deliver to me enter my pupils and make their way deep into my brain to create a fictional world I have never actually experienced. Starting out from the stories of the Antarctic told to me daily by my father when I was a child, I explore the thoughts and imaginings of an unknown land untouched by existence. Such things make possible a landing of my own making and provide me with my next perspective.
