About works / performance
Oliver Watson is Editor and Creative Director of PAPERBACK. Founded in 2006 as place to focus his (and co-founder's) interests in art, visual culture, and printed matter. PAPERBACK is an arts periodical that combines qualities of indie-magazine, artist-book and special edition art book, "a manifestation of that well-used yet utter disorganized bookshelf that simultaneously houses contemporary artists' books, children's picture books, pamphlets, outsider artists' surveys, and other printed matter."
Comment
My creative activities tend to revolve around printed matter, be it the creation of new printed matter or the discussion of existing examples. At base level my attraction to printed media is the facility it offers an author to enter the public domain and remain there - at large, indefinitely.
