Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1982, Nobuhiro Shimura graduated from Department of Imaging Arts & Sciences at the Graduate School of Musashino Art University in 2007. His major exhibitions include; "AIMY2009, Ukabe by Nobuhiro Shimura" (Yokohama Art Museum), "Koganecho Bazaar 2009", and "Akasaka Art Flower '08". He also received the grand prix in Interactive/Installation at NHK Digista Award 2007.
About works / performance
He captures ordinaries abound in life on a video, and using the images, creates his installations that metamorphose the existing space. Many of his works utilize multi-projections on a broad scale; nonetheless, the concepts are conceived in small discoveries of everyday life.
