About works / performance

My most recent work is a 2channel video work of my collaborator, cinematographer Joe Shemish, and myself walking through a clear fell in Tasmania. A clear fell is an area of forest that has been completely cut down, and destroyed in the process. Tasmania has ancient forests where trees 500 to 700 years old are ground up and used to make paper. My work Walking through Clear Fells, tries to depict this landscape and destruction in a new way, changing both fine art concepts of landscape and activist image of destruction.
