Comment

I am a filmmaker and script writer. I usually create my artistic concepts related to the story I am working on. My debut feature SIVAS was shot in Anatolia in Turkey featuring the story of a boy and a fighting dog in a small village. In SIVAS I appropriated special visual and sound concepts in an artistic collaborative way that fit in the landscape of the story. In my filmic practice I enjoy collaborating contemporary artists to enrich and complete the aesthetical vision of my films, because I believe in artistic collaborations and affective connection between contemporary arts and cinema. Currently I am working on my second feature film project IGUANA TOKYO, which features the story of a nuclear family living in Tokyo. In this project I am collaborating with the contemporary artists Temnyouya Hisashi from Japan and Ali M. Demirel from Turkey to enrich the visual-animation parts of my project.
