About works / performance

Besides my activity in contemporary music (as a soloist and Lied and ensemble musician), I am also involved in interdisciplinary projects.
Among these, Pierrot lumière (with director Recha LaDous and light artist Bernhard Greif) and the music-theater Mond.Finsternis.Asphalt (after R. Akutagawa), conducted by Beat Furrer.
Also, I am very active in improvisation and re-creation of graphic scores, e.g. Christian Marclay's Shuffle (German Première, Rot Festival, Frankfurt 2009).
My upcoming musical creations include the multimedia music performance mute.

Comment

I see my performances as "curated travels," combining Avant-garde works and improvisation - introducing new stage elements and breaking the patterns of traditional concerts. Two examples include: The staged concert Pierrot lumière featured Schoenberg's op.21, improvised and electronic sections and new compositions, thus bringing the figure of Pierrot into the modern era. mute. (April'11, Frankfurt) explores the possibility of a 'mute music': music not heard, but seen - gesture not seen, but heard, and discovers different degrees of 'mutation' between movement, sound and graphics.
