Profile
Vasif Kortun, born in 1958, is the founder and the current Director of the Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center (Turkey), founded in 2001. In 1992, he was involved in the Istanbul Biennial as the chief curator as well as in 2005 as the co-curator. He also takes part in the Biennials in São Paulo and Taipei as the co-curator.
