Comment

Focusing on the theme of rethinking the photographic medium, I have been doing photography as fine art. After moving to Berlin, Germany, I began to take an interest in memories of division and war brought about by the concept of nations. In my current project I am planning to show in this program, I took photographs of three airports in Berlin. By taking photographs showing the airport's history and current state, I explore themes of memories of a city. The photographs capture the unique circumstances surrounding three airports in Berlin as a metaphor for present, past and future intertwined in a complex manner.
