Profile

Born in 1985. A member of Jiangsu Kun Opera Theatre Troup. As main repertories, "Caoluji, luhuadang" "Tianxiale,  Zhongkui Jiamei" "Hunangdan, Shanmen" "1699, Taohuashan" etc. Also have performed for a collaborative work with contemporary theatre "Flee by Night"(Zuni Icosahedron 2010 BankART, Kazuo Ohno Festival 2010).
Award: 5th Jiangsu Theatre Prize "Best Acting"(2011), 4th Jiangsu Theatre Prize "Best Acting"(2010), National Kun Opera Youth Actor Competition "New Best 10 Actors"(2007)

About works / performance

In view of the 10th anniversary of the UNESCO's proclamation of Noh and Kun Opera as masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2011, "Memory, Place, Dialogue 2011-2013 Noh and Kun cultural exchange program" has been started by two directors Makoto SATO (Japan) and Danny YUNG (Hong Kong).  As one of this project, Noh, Kun and contemporary theatre performers create new piece, which is based on "The Spirits Play" by one of important dramatists in Asia, Kuo Pao Kun. I am also a member of this experimental performance and the performance will be held in Tokyo and in Hong Kong this year. This program will be developed and invited for Kuo Pao Kun festival in Singapore, 2012.
