"Where is here ?" "Where are we now?
I take that question as a guide, using doors to eliminate many different 'heres.' Yet there is nothing on the other side of those doors. And, before our eyes, appears 'here.' Presenting a restricted space, I want to simultaneously express the fact that a limitless space is hidden within. [Note about the work] The doors featured in this work, are doors that were actually used in the redevelopment of an area close to Tokyo Wonder Site Hongo, an area that I have researched. When those doors appear in a white cube and continue to change, moment by moment, how then do the city and 'here' actually look?
