Sayaka Ishizuka, born 1980 in Shizuoka, obtained her BFA in oil painting at the Joshibi University of Art and Design in 2004. In 2009, she participated in the Tokyo Wonder Site
Wellington --Tokyo Residency Exchange Program, staying in New Zealand. She received
the Judges Special Award at "Daikanyama Installation 2007" in Daikanyama, Tokyo in 2007. She has also held various solo shows.
