About works / performance

I describe myself as a forensic garbologist of the everyday.  I tell stories through the accumulation and arrangement of objects.   I work with what is existing, modifying it and interacting with it.

Comment

I am interested in the idea of a disposable society where consumption is based on supply and demand. I collect discarded objects and create narratives that engage with a multitude of concepts, focusing on the here and now, the past and potentially the future. I both preserve and convert throwaways, adhering an amended narrative. The responsibility of artists is to hold a mirror to what goes on in society and I am interested in what effect consumption has on our lifestyle.
