This conference aims to construct a network by considering how to utilize and develop Artist-in-Residences related to Japanese contemporary art and hold a discussion on the possibility of Artist-in-Residence and its future from a Pan-Asian perspective. We look to the planned Res Artis General Meeting 2012 TOKYO, a global network of Artist-in-Residencies, as an opportunity to strengthen our domestic network to further cooperation and growth.
