TWS Aoyama: Creator-in-Residence organizes monthly public program, "OPEN STUDIO" which is for the public to see the creative process of residing creators, to communicate and to exchange ideas about their works. In each studio, creators present the progress of their works or research in various ways.

Profile:Kenji Kai
Director of Activity Support Department of Sendai Mediatheque Kai participates in some NPO groups such as "remo" for archives, media and organizations, and "reci p" for information and projects related to the community culture. Kai deals with information design, planning and management mainly in cultural policy making.
