Seiichi Takeuchi(Ethicist)
Born in 1946. Currently, He is a professor at Kamakura Women's University and a professor emeritus at Tokyo University. Also he is a president at The Japanese Society for Ethics and specializes in the thought of Japanese ethics. He tracks back the history of Japanese psyche and explores how it associates with Japanese people nowaday. He has written books such as Are Japanese genial? (Chikuma Shinsyo) , Transience and Japanese (Heibonsya Shinsyo) , Why Japanese say 「Sayonara」 on parting (Chikuma Shinsyo), Naturally and Personally (Shunjusya), Philosophy of Sorrow (NHK Books) and Flower petal falls flowers do not fall (Kadokawa Sensyo).
