TWS Aoyama: Creator-in-Residence organizes monthly public program, "OPEN STUDIO" which is for the public to see the creative process of residing creators, to communicate and to exchange ideas about their works. In each studio, creators present the progress of their works or research in various ways.
In the OPEN STUDIO of this month, Junko Yamaoka (Program Coordinator, Goethe-Institut Villa Kamogawa) will give a talk about " Goethe-Institut Villa Kamogawa-New German Artist in Residence ".

Profile:Junko Yamaoka
Upon graduating from Kyoto City University of Arts, she continued studying at Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität and Universität Wien. She studied violin under Werner Hink, concert master of Wiener Philharmoniker. After gaining experience in planning and managing German music festivals and orchestra offices, she was involved in planning, production and publicity for performances in music, dance, theatre and classic performing arts at Ishikawa Ongakudo, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa and Biwako Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Shiga. She works for the cultural section at Kyoto Goethe-Institut (current Goethe-Institut Villa Kamogawa) since autumn 2008. She plans and coordinates residency and cultural programs.
